The Accountability Manager, as part of the Project Management Group (PMG) serves as the Program level staff proponent for munitions accountability processes. Manages the Munitions Stock Record Accounts for the Contract. Assists in the development of plans and policies of the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS). Assists the Munitions Functional Manager in overall management of the Munitions Program. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities
- Is the single accountability focal point and is responsible for munitions accountability across the GPMS Contract in accordance with USAF standards and the PWS.
- Ensures all transactions affecting the Contract's munitions accounts are processed into TICMS and auditable records available to support the transactions.
- Conducts audit visits of the Munitions Department sites to analyze the accountability processes.
- Audits accountable transactions in TICMS/MC2.
- Develops and maintains monthly metrics data to analyze trends and munitions historical information.
- Maintains the Regional Ammunition Control Point for the Contract.
- Coordinates, monitors and assures the accuracy of all recurring Contract reports, computer transactions and other outgoing correspondence for accountability.
- Conducts munitions semi-annual inventories and analyzes accountable records.
- Assists in development, coordination and management of the Munitions Quality Control, Training and Explosives Safety Programs.
- Participates in special projects, management studies and related tasks and prepares reports as needed for PSO/PMO.
- Performs all PMG functions in the absence of the Munitions Functional Manager.
- Works necessary hours, to include stand-by duties, to support mission requirements during peacetime and combat contingencies.
- Assists site Munitions Operations elements with DAFMAN 21-201 and site-specific accountability requirements when lack of manning, mission tempo, etc., dictates.
- Coordinates information with the MASO/MASO delegate(s) for GPMS stockpile accountability.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have expert knowledge of USAF Management, Logistics and Maintenance Systems or US service equivalent.
- Must have intermediate of USAF Supply and Technical Order systems or US service equivalent.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have completed formal USAF Munitions Systems training or US Service equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of eight years of experience with Military Munitions.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience in Munitions Operations or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of two years Munitions Operations Supervisor experience or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of one year custody account experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Must have normal color perception and depth of vision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred prior USAF MASO experience.
- Preferred prior USAF MAJCOM Staff experience.
- Preferred CCAF degree in Munitions Management.
