Air Tactical Pilots are based at one of CAL FIRE remote bases by bid and may displace an employee in a lower classification by seniority per Article 8.8 and 8.9.

• Airplane, multi-engine: 800 
• Mountain (typical terrain): 200 
• Instrument (total): 75 
• Instrument (actual): 50 
• Night: 100 
• Make and model to be flown: 10 
• One or more of the following: 
• Aerial firefighting (PIC or Co-Pilot): 500 
• AME (>6,000 lbs.): 100 
• AME (>12,500 lbs.): 50 
• AME Turbine Powered: 50

Salary and Other Compensation:  
The hourly rate for this position is between $151.89 per hour.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.]
