The aircraft electrical worker performs nonsupervisory work involved in maintaining aircraft electrical power systems, environmental control systems and equipment.  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electrical systems

  • Inspecting, troubleshoot, repairing, and maintaining generators, wiring harnesses, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electrical equipment and components that have been removed from aircraft.

  • Responsible for completion and accuracy of aircraft/equipment forms documentation and MIS input.

  • Ensure compliance with technical publications and directives.

  • Completes maintenance forms as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain site access. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain site access.

  • Must have valid driver’s license (REAL ID required within 30 days of employment)

  • Skilled on test equipment required by job assignment.

  • Four (4) years of maintenance experience on like assigned aircraft, engine, avionics systems, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) (DD 214 or employment record).

  • Or have an FAA Airframe, or Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.

  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements as stipulated in Appendix E of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the position.

       

Compensation Details:

Hourly Rate: $40.54
