This Aircraft Painter position will report directly to the Program Manager and will be responsible for all surface preparation, treatment and painting associated with the fleet of assigned aircraft at this location.

Job Summary:

• Performs surface preparation, treatment and painting of components, all aircraft surface areas, aircraft panels, support equipment, or other items as required.
• Demonstrated ability to precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices.
• Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
• Must be knowledgeable of military publications and diagrams.
• Ability to precisely apply vinyl graphics to multiple aircraft surfaces. Must be qualified in application of FMS-2026 Form 2, Type 1 F-16 Have Glass surface refinishing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience as a paint technician to include painting, maintenance, and finish work.
• Education requirement: High School diploma or GED
• Proven experience with FMS-2026 F-16 Have Glass paint application procedures. Working knowledge of USAF military publications and Technical Orders
• Must be able to lead, train and mentor other technicians in all aspects of the F-16 Aircraft Paint technician specialty

Preferred Qualifications:

• F-16 Block 40 and above surface refinishing
• Highly experienced USAF 5 and 7 skill level or civilian equivalent
