Amentum is now hiring for Computer Scientist (All Levels) positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

• Oversees and develops solutions to computer hardware and software issues.

• Designs system hardware requirements and software applications.

• Utilizes principles of computer science theory and practice.

• Analyzes processes to implement effective changes.

• Creates and circulates design documentation.

• Maintains the company's hardware and software requirements.

• Designs and executes testing procedures.

• Keeps abreast of new industry developments, technologies, and tools to increase performance.

• Must have advanced experience in software engineering and programming for large computers, minicomputer and microprocessor-based applications.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.

• 1-10+ years of experience.

• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $250,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
