The Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist (CGIS) Level III position provides support services related data collection and analysis. This position requires the ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. Candidate must possess the skill and ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information.

Workweek: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8am – 4pm

The CGI Specialist Level III also performs the following tasks:

Experience
It is preferred that candidates have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience supporting law enforcement investigations with local, State, or Federal law enforcement. They must possess the ability to work with and coordinate the efforts of local, State, and Federal law enforcement; to plan and complete complex projects and present those plans and projects to a group; and to identify and overcome obstacles to those plans.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or possession of an equivalent combination of formal education, work experience and on the job training.
