Amentum is now hiring for an Engineering Analyst (All levels)– CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

  • Analyzes and assesses engineering metrics to provide data driven guidance on decisions concerning engineering initiatives.
  • Recommends and proposes improvements in engineering project/operation based on findings from analysis.
  • Develops and generates reports, creates visualizations, and utilizes forecasting models to convey findings to relevant stakeholders in the engineering department.
  • Pinpoints potential sources of data sourced from engineering projects.
  • Develops connections to new data sources and efficiently ingests data into current pipeline frameworks.
  • May assist in monitoring project progress to ensure that project milestones are being met in accordance to established schedules
  • May analyze technical components to anomalies in project analysis
  • May collaborate with engineers and program managers to establish project milestones and requirements for project success.
  • Has experience in coordinating with various individuals such as program and project leaders to analyze system and/or product architecture, design, coding, and performance.
  • Able to identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues. Is able to conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.
  • Has demonstrable skills in resolve problems as related to their field.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree computer science, math, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 1-10+ years’ experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $200,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
