Enterprise Systems Architect

Amentum is seeking a Enterprise Systems Architect for a large-scale contract operated in the Washington, DC metro area to consolidate and modernize IT, cybersecurity, and network services across all 50 states and territories. The Enterprise Systems Architect is responsible for the technical leadership of the program, which includes current systems and future enhancements.  

We are pipelining candidates for a future contract award.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

  • The Enterprise Systems Architect shall understand the DoD and Army operates within the DoD Information Network (DODIN) in order to design, develop, test, sustain, and integrate solutions in compliance within DoD/ ARs.
  • oversee the technical management of the underlying data solutions to ensure RCAS-FMS systems meet current and future requirements
  • work with RCAS-FMS PO as interface partners when developing or enhancing information exchanges.
  • Translate business goals into a technical strategy and ensure IT systems support those objectives.
  • Design integrations between different platforms and systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Establish and enforce technical standards, development best practices, and policies.
  • Collaborate with and provide architectural guidance to various departments, project teams, and leadership.
  • Review project implementations to ensure they align with the overall architecture and business outcomes.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to improve business processes and meet requirements.
  • Assess potential risks, vulnerabilities, and scalability issues, and implement governance frameworks to ensure adherence to standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing projects using BBPs for a rapid system development approach.
  • A current IA Technical Level II certification.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing projects with environments similar in scope and complexity to those managed under the RCAS-FMS PO (.NET, Oracle computing environments, Linux Environment, Windows Computing Environment, VM Ware, etc.).
  • A minimum of five years of experience managing integration teams similar to the scope and complexity of the work and environment
  • Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of experience developing systems solutions to operate within the DODIN.
  • Minimum of five years of experience designing solutions to meet the DoDAF.

  •  This position is performed in a traditional office environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Hiring salary range is $129k-$189K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
