Amentum is seeking a highly capable Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) Integrator to join our team in Rota, Spain, supporting the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC). This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a critical technical interface supporting forward-deployed U.S. Navy forces by integrating complex shipboard systems across HM&E, C5I, and Combat Systems domains. Essential Responsibilities:
Provide direct engineering and technical integration support for Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) events across HM&E, C5I, and Combat Systems
Serve as the technical interface between fleet units, engineering activities, and maintenance organizations
Perform system-level integration during troubleshooting, repair, modernization, and casualty response efforts
Interpret and apply technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance standards to support diagnostics and corrective actions
Validate system configuration compliance against technical baselines, alteration installations, and engineering change directives
Support root cause analysis of system degradations and equipment failures, including data collection and corrective action development
Maintain engineering accountability and configuration control of Code 200 equipment, including serialized inventory and calibration requirements
Oversee calibration verification and readiness of precision test equipment used in fleet support activities
Provide technical review and quality assurance of maintenance actions to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards
Assist in maintaining and updating system configuration records, including verification of installed alterations and integration points
Review CASREP data and SIPR operational messages for technical accuracy and system impact
Ensure compliance with DoW directives, NAVSEA technical authorities, cybersecurity requirements, and controlled technical information standards
Travel as required to support forward-deployed naval forces and FTA operations
Support Engineering Technical Branch (ETB) efforts, including system analysis and troubleshooting of complex network issues

Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated technical expertise in at least one of the following domains:
Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems
Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C5I)
Naval Combat Systems
Strong understanding of shipboard system architectures and interdependencies
Experience with engineering change documentation and alteration installation processes
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system diagrams
Proven experience in system troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective maintenance
Knowledge of calibration and test equipment validation standards
Familiarity with DoW engineering directives, NAVSEA technical authorities, and shipboard maintenance standards
Ability to work independently at a journeyman level and make sound technical decisions in high-tempo environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting
Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including OCONUS and shipboard environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience integrating multiple shipboard systems across HM&E, C5I, and Combat Systems domains
Prior experience supporting Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) or working at a Regional Maintenance Center (RMC)
Experience with configuration management and system baseline validation on U.S. Navy platforms
Familiarity with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and NAVSEA Standard Items
Experience reviewing or supporting CASREP reporting and operational message traffic
Background in engineering analysis, system integration, or technical program support
Experience managing or maintaining technical documentation and configuration records
Active or recently held security clearance
Experience working in a forward-deployed or OCONUS operational environment, supporting naval forces in high-tempo, mission-critical settings
