The Full Stack Developer Sr is part of a small team that will work to develop a new Java application with a PostgreSQL backend and Tomcat application server. The senior developer will be working in an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/ requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The Developer will need to possess strong user interface skills using Angular 2+. We are looking for engineers/developers that want to implement and learn cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to support our customer and their multiple national security missions.

This senior-level developer will work with minimal guidance from the Project Manager to accomplish requirements associated with supporting agile development projects. This person will be responsible for managing specific tasks and ensuring solutions and schedules are implemented promptly. They will possess the ability to manage, track and report on the accomplishments of the work assigned.

This position is a hybrid position with two days onsite at our customer’s location in Washington DC and allows for up to 3 days a week of remote work. Additional onsite days are only required based on mission need.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science

• 8 years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software

• 5+ years of experience TypeScript Application Development

• 5+ years of experience Angular 2.x, version 14+

• 5+ years of experience MongoDB / PostgreSQL

• 5+ years AWS development AWS CloudFormation, AWS OpenSearch

• Experience with Docker / containerized development

• Experience with Java (JEE Development)

• Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security

• Experience with JUNIT

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Experience developing in an agile environment

Clearance Required:

• TS - SCI Eligible

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline

Minimum Years of Experience:

• 8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search).

Required Certifications:

N/A

Preferred:

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience with Gitlab
