As a Graduate Physicist, you’ll work alongside industry-leading experts on high-impact projects that span the entire nuclear fuel cycle – from cutting-edge fusion and fission reactor design to decommissioning legacy facilities and supporting the UK’s operational nuclear fleet.
Your role will be primarily desk-based and may involve:
You’ll be embedded in a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to safety case development, conceptual engineering, and scientific analysis that underpins major nuclear programmes in the UK and internationally.

Selection Process:
Step 1: Apply Online
Step 2: Successful candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment
Step 3: Those who are selected will be invited to a final face to face interview with our operations teams.
Step 4: Selected candidates will be offered an opportunity to join Amentum Graduate Programe in September 2026
