Amentum is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.

Essential Duties:

• Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
• Subject matter expertise level capability of measuring electrical properties such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, electrical potential and current flow.
• Subject matter expertise level familiarity with provisions and applications of the National Electric Code and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
• Fluent in English including ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
• Liaison with local deployed and CONUS engineering departments to maintain immediate response to critical requirements resulting from analysis of current specification data on assigned systems.
• Have technical understanding of power generation operation and maintenance, certification from power generation manufacturer preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
• Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years’ experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent license at a state level; or six years’ experience in an equivalent Military or civilian equivalent Electrician training/certification.
