Amentum is seeking a Micro-Circuit Engineer/Scientist who has working knowledge and experience with the design, development, test, and manufacture, and ntegration of micro-sized photonic, quantum, and/or orgranic circuits. Candidates must have experience with one or more of the following circuit types and/or manufacturing ecosystem:

Photonic Circuits: Exploration of power of light at the chip-scale and use of photonic interconnects, examining new materials, wavelengths, and new architectures.
Quantum Circuits: Exploration of near-to-long term instantiations of quantum technology to reduce the possibility of commercial surprise, drive the discovery of new hardware metrics, and invent scalable devices.
Organic Circuits: Exploration of methods to enable integration of bio-molecules and micro-technologies, viability of molecular integrated circuits, and exploration of hybrid bio-sensing and bio-compute microsystems. 
Manufacturing Ecosystem: Exploration of new additive, subtractive, and combination fabrication tools and technologies to enable sustainable manufacturing, technologies to speed up the time to market, and foundational ecosystem enhancements with far-reaching impact beyond the new circuits of tomorrow 

All candidates must have the following experience:
• The ability to distil complex technical and scientific concepts into accessible language for a broad range of audiences in written and presentation formats
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and also in dynamic, fast-paced team environments
• Ability to interface with a wide-range of audiences including internal and external Government and Military leadership and stakeholders across all Services

Required:
Minimum of a BS in engineering, physics, mathematics, or biology
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a operations research and working in a R&D environment
Background in areas such as engineering, scientific research, or program management

Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship

is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. 
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe PDF
