Amentum is seeking a Minor Construction, Carpenter/Mason to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Minor Construction, Carpenter/Mason and Concrete Finisher.

• Experience with facilities repairs and replacements to include roofing, walls, siding, doors, windows, flooring and tiling.

• Concrete and block work to include excavations forming, batching and pouring concrete.

• Fencing repairs and replacements.

• Perform insulation, painting and caulking.

 Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate required.

• 5 years of related experience working in concrete, masonry and general construction environment.  

• Strong understanding of building components and repair techniques.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing and working in various conditions.

• Proper use of hand and power tools and personal protective gear.

• Adhering to safety protocols procedures and guidelines, company policy and procedures.

• Driver's license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman Carpenter certification with 5 years of trade experience including the ability to lead over a small team of skilled employees.

• CDL license.
