Amentum is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The O&M Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, operations, and repair of various systems and infrastructure. This includes HVAC, plumbing, sewage systems, non-potable water systems, generators, electrical systems, overall base operations, and any material or equipment on site.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide maintenance, operations, and repair support for site infrastructure.
Identify, order, supply, stock, and maintain a consistent inventory of repair and service items, including critical spares.
Maintain a reasonable number of items in stock as part of the necessary Operations, Maintenance, and Repair (OM&R) parts and supplies.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Minimum of five (5) years’ recent experience in similar work.
Certification in at least one trade (plumbing, electrical, HVACR, etc.), with a preference for electrical certification.
Must possess a minimum of a SECRET clearance at the start of the contract.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
The O&M Technician must work in various environments, which may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, confined spaces, and elevated work platforms. Physical demands include lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Mental demands involve attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication.
