We’re building something exciting in Kraków — a new Integrated Delivery Solutions team (IDS) and we are looking for a Planning and Scheduling Specialist/ Specjalista/ Specjalistka ds. Planowania i Harmonogramów to join the team.
The selected candidate will be employed by Critical Mission Services Sp. z o.o., part of Amentum.
About the Role
The Planning & Scheduling Specialist supports the successful delivery of projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, analysing performance data, and working closely with cross-functional teams.
This role requires expanded knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling along with a working understanding of how integrated Project Controls data (cost, schedule, risk) supports project delivery.
Working with a moderate level of guidance, the Planning & Scheduling Specialist applies established practices and procedures to deliver reliable scheduling outputs. The role contributes to planning activities across one or more projects and supports continuous improvement within the team.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring alignment with defined scope, milestones, and deliverables
Support identification of key interfaces, dependencies, risks, and opportunities within the schedule
Liaise with the supply chain to ensure schedule submissions meet contractual requirements and align with programme objectives
Apply knowledge of schedule hierarchy, integration, and change control processes to maintain schedule integrity
Support the preparation of integrated Project Controls outputs, ensuring alignment between schedule, cost, and risk data
Participate in planning and scheduling workshops, reviews, and coordination meetings
Review schedule assumptions and outputs, escalating issues where required
Monitor and report on schedule performance, including:
Progress updates
Forecast to complete
Variance analysis
Performance trends
Prepare and present schedule data to stakeholders in a clear and structured format
Participate in peer reviews of schedules and support validation of supply chain deliverables
Ensure compliance with internal standards, processes, and tools
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling practices and reporting (e.g. Power BI)
Core Competencies
Planning & Scheduling Knowledge: Good understanding of scheduling principles, tools, and construction project environments
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and identify issues using standard methodologies
Systems Proficiency: Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel; exposure to Power BI is advantageous
Commercial Awareness: Basic understanding of contract frameworks (e.g. NEC, FIDIC)
Communication: Ability to communicate schedule information clearly to stakeholders
Collaboration: Works effectively with multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and consistency in schedule data
Learning Agility: Builds knowledge of company processes, tools, and project environments
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Business, or related field
Typically 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling, preferably within construction or infrastructure
Working experience with Primavera P6 is beneficial
Experience supporting:
Project scheduling
Supply chain schedule coordination
Multi-disciplinary project teams
Exposure to developing schedules and reviewing supplier schedules using standard procedures
Understanding of:
Basic Integrated Project Controls concepts (cost, schedule, risk)
Schedule structure and integration
Change management processes
Construction and design workflows
Awareness of contract frameworks (NEC/FIDIC), and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is advantageous
Knowledge of project management standards (APM, PMI, AACE or similar) is a plus
Experience in the nuclear sector is desirable but not essential
Fluent English (B2 or higher); Polish is an advantage
