We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Alice Springs. This role is ideal for someone who understands how construction projects run on the ground and is ready to develop their skills in planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

You’ll be supporting a range of defense and infrastructure projects while gaining valuable experience that can lead into a future Project Manager role. On-the-job training, support, and mentoring will be provided to help you succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Coordinating project timelines, subcontractors, and budgets 
• Supporting Project Managers with planning and reporting tasks 
• Conducting site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance 
• Communicating with trades, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met 
• Organizing and attending meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking actions 
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks or delays to keep projects on track 

 
What We’re Looking For 

• A background in construction, trades, or site-based work (e.g. carpentry, electrical, plumbing, civil) - you’ve worked on site and understand how projects actually run
• Strong communication and coordination skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail 
• Organized, reliable, and willing to learn and step into the office-side of project delivery
•  Competent with computer systems (training on platforms like SAP or SharePoint can be provided) 
•  Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team 
• Driver’s License and White Card (or ability to obtain) 

 
Applicants must be an USA citizen who have a TS/SCI or Australian Citizen who can obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.
