Amentum is seeking a Project Supervisor. The candidate will enhance current staffing and require direct supervision of contractor staff, including clerical staff and first line supervisors.

  • Directly responsible for all work supporting Complaint Portal.
  • Will assist Project Manager on a multitude of smaller matters including case work and staff supervision.
  • Responsible for oversight of responsive review of citizen communications as well as communications with government agencies and non-governmental organizations.
  • Creates, prepares, and approves responses for controlled correspondence before mailing.
  • Assists with development and on-going testing of the Complaint Portal.
  • Performs complex legal and factual research.
  • Designs and develops systems and procedures for tracking, controlling, and managing case files, exhibits, and other case-specific materials.
  • Assists trial staff in coordination with expert witnesses and litigation consultants.
  • May require frequent contact with Government COR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, etc., as well as interaction with other Contractor components.

Required:

  • At least two years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects, including at least one year of supervisory experience, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of litigation support; excellent writing skills; and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs.
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications.
  • Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems. 
  • Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
  • Undergraduate degree required. Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Preferred:

  • Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree preferred. Paralegal experience helpful.

Compensation

The annual starting salary/ hourly rate for this position is between $63,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
