This assignment is located at Creech AFB in Indian Springs, NV. Employee may also support TDY deployments to various locations as required in support of Reaper-series UAS maintenance. Manages and maintains an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.

Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance.  Maintains proficiency in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS), and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.

USAF equivalent position is Aircraft Scheduling & Documentation Apprentice. Position reports to the Supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

·         Assists in developing long range plans and assists in establishing production schedules to meet customer requirements.

·         Supports the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.

·         Maintains equipment records in database library files.

·         Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of RPA maintenance activities.

·         Helps ensure accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.

·         Supports supervisor in training management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.

·         Shall perform the duties of general housekeeping of both the interior and exterior work areas and grounds maintenance of all assigned facilities not covered by host base contracts

·         Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Must have high school diploma, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum

·         Minimum of one year actual and recent aircraft Plans & Scheduling experience required

·         Must possess planning and organizational skills

·         Must be able to work under deadlines

·         Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

·         Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date

·         Must be eligible to gain and maintain a DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties

·         Must be able to lift and carry various items in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods to include the wearing of Military Issued Equipment.

·         Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months.  Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Current DoD Security Clearance

·         Associate’s degree in a relevant career field

·         Minimum of one year experience in operations of the USAF MIS, including CAMS and/or CEMS

·         RPA operations experience

·         Prior experience as a Defense Contractor

·         Prior experience in RPA Plans & Scheduling
