Employee will be assigned to Creech AFB, NV and may be required to support TDY deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required. Oversees and coordinates the work effort of assigned subordinate maintenance personnel in support of the unit’s daily RPA maintenance operations. Supervises employees who manage and maintain an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Maintains proficiency in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS), and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections. Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.
USAF equivalent position is Aircraft Scheduling & Documentation Superintendent. Position reports to the Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
· Directs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.
· Maintains equipment records in database library files.
· Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of RPA maintenance activities.
· Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.
· Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.
· Shall perform the duties of general housekeeping of both the interior and exterior work areas and grounds maintenance of all assigned facilities not covered by host base contracts.
· Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements:
· Must have Associate’s degree, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum
· Minimum of eight-plus years actual and recent aircraft Plans & Scheduling experience required
· Must have working knowledge of basic and complex maintenance and repair
· Must have the ability to build a team, maintain schedules, and monitor training certifications
· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
· Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date
· Must be eligible to gain and maintain a DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties
· Must be able to gain and maintain the required security clearance level and special access authorization as a condition of continued employment
· Must be able to lift and carry various items in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods to include the wearing of Military Issued Equipment
· Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
· Current DoD Security Clearance
· Application of technical knowledge of aircraft principles in determining malfunctions and skill application in restoring equipment systems and operations
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant career field
· Minimum of eight years actual and recent experience in operations of the USAF MIS, including CAMS and/or CEMS
· RPA operations & deployment experience
· Prior experience as a Defense Contractor
· Prior experience in RPA maintenance and repair
