SAP Functional Delivery Manager

The functional role has the responsibility to oversee and guide the development of SAP to enhance current capabilities and maximize the existing SAP instance. Continued functional process design improvement strategies within the ERP System. Provide and map out current end to end processes including external non-SAP software, develop correct process flows for end users to follow. Liaise with stakeholders to determine issues and provide technology solutions as appropriate using SAP. Accountability in managing vendors, partners and producing all artefacts for decision makers regarding requirements for risk management, solution options and trade-offs. Understand the interoperability of the PM, FICO, SCM modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Map end to end processes and refine overall structure
  • Develop training packages for end users
  • Refine inter-department process flows and capture reasoning
  • Manage development teams and translate functional requirements
  • Provide technical solutions for functional problems
  • Prepare and present test plans, technical overviews and any analysis
  • Collaboration with all teams to ensure a robust and repeatable solution
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions for use in SAP
  • Document architecture and design of the SAP solution
  • Assist in training for other technical team members and customers
  • Utilize Prometheus to assist SSC in planning processes
  • Report any incidents to management as a priority
  • Modify and design new systems to meet operational requirements
  • Supervise other technical staff and provide technical assistance, evaluate and reviews as required
  • Create/update technical documentation and user manuals
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested

COMPETENCIES

Technical Competencies

  • Experience and knowledge with SAP systems and implementation techniques
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as SAP Basis Consultant/Business Analyst with several implementation cycles
  • Experience with Prometheus integration in SAP
  • Experience and knowledge in performance analysis and Capacity Planning
  • Experience with ERP 6.0
  • Experience with Databases such as Oracle
  • Demonstrated understanding of EHS procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions to problems

  • 10 years experience in SAP environment Experience working at all levels of the business Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a significant emphasis on collaboration

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

  • It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a TSPV Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or SSBI (U.S.) clearance.
