Amentum is currently seeking a Subcontracts Support Administrator to support our program in Alice Springs, Australia. This position requires the incumbent to support our Subcontracts team, which consists of both onsite and remote workers, with administrative tasks and site walks for tenders. You will be required to work independently with some instruction, be solution-oriented, contribute meaningfully to team and/or organizational goals, demonstrate good judgement and business acumen, and collaborate with stakeholders and other departments when needed. We will consider any/all levels of experience.
Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Supplier Management System – ensuring that vendor documentation is current, up-to-date and compliant.
- Provide SAP support to remote Subcontract Administrators.
- Assist remote Subcontract Administrators with scheduling and conducting site walks for tenders, as required.
- Conduct market research relevant to expanding the vendor pool and price analysis activities.
- Onboard new vendors and upload them into the Supplier Management System and SAP.
- Track and manage the Supplier EHS Prequalification documents and records process.
- Liaise with subcontractors and service providers, as well as Finance, Proposals, and other Program teams.
- Participation in cross-functional collaboration and tiger teams.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested
Minimum Qualifications:
SCA Admin:
- Minimum two (2) years previous experience in business administration, office support or reception role.
- Professional communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Discretion with confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and experience with Costpoint, SAP or similar ERP system
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally and participating in Site walks occasionally.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require an Active U.S. Secret or TS/SCI Clearance; or equivalent Australian NV1 or Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defense Security Clearance and ability to maintain that clearance or obtain higher clearance.
STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS
All personnel assigned to work at JDFPG shall be:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to fluently read, write and speak English.
EHS REQUIREMENT
All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. While Amentum is responsible for providing a safe workplace and is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements of the JDFPG Handbook, each person is responsible for:
- Completing work tasks in a safe manner.
- Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager,
- Continuous adherence to the environmental, health and safety procedures outlined in the JDFPG Handbook during the performance of their work.
- Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to “STOP WORK” if a job is unsafe or possess a danger to the environment.
