Under general supervision receives from the NAVFAC Regional Call Center all work orders. Screens and applies guidelines for work reception for work types, appropriate accounts and contractual requirements of work requested. Operates base-wide hand-held radios for communicating with personnel involved in maintenance repairs. Applicant must be able to work rotating shifts. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Three years clerical experience
  • Ability to type and input data with a speed of no less than 40 WPM
  • Must possess a valid stat driver's license.
  • Must wear substantial leather shoes when accessing industrial areas
  • Prior clerical, call center, or dispatcher experience
  • Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay
