The Aircraft Radio Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of the systems assigned T-1, T-38 and T-6 aircraft.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Skilled on use of avionics test equipment required by job assignment.
• Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and Air Force Technical Orders.
• Accomplishes maintenance 781 forms for work accomplished and IMDS entries.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with REAL ID within 30 days of employment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain site access. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain site access.
• Must have four (4) years of maintenance experience on radio systems, electrical systems, instrument systems, or
• Possess Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications, or
• Or provide a DD214 from prior military training showing Avionics courses and completion dates.
• Must be able to read, speak and write in English
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements as stipulated in Appendix E of the CBA.
