About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a talented CE&I Commissioning Engineer to join us to support delivery of projects for our client in the Reading area.
Candidates must either be already DV cleared or be able to secure DV clearance and be a sole British National (no dual nationality allowed due to client restrictions.)
The CE&I Commissioning Engineer will support the project commissioning manager and in delivery of projects through the whole project lifecycle. Design, FAT, CE&I construction phase and the commissioning preparation and execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. You will ensure that you are a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety
Ensure all commissioning arrangements conform to Site License conditions through IPC and ISC
Manage execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of commissioning tests for both IPC and ISC ensuring that all commissioning activities are recorded and managed via the project completions management system
Provide support to the Commissioning Manager in planning, coordinating and directing the System Commissioning activities
Write and produce test plans and commissioning test documents and technical documents communicating System Commissioning and Asset Management plans, guidance and instructions
Assist in developing the System Commissioning Plan and methodologies; provide review and coordination of Contractor submittals ensuring that input to other project processes are incorporated, for example, design, HAZOP, risk, contract, estimating and knowledge management
This position will develop plans and manage tasks within the System Commissioning scope of work, which will be further detailed in the Plant test schedule, system Commissioning Plan and the System Acceptance Plan.
Here's What You'll Need:
Significant commissioning experience in a similar role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry
Experience with completions management systems
Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
Sole British Nationality (no dual nationality due to client restrictions)
Ability and willingness to obtain DV security clearance.
