Position Overview: 

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and relationship driven individual to support professionals and their families relocating to Australia.  

This role is responsible for delivering a seamless and positive “Welcome to Australia” experience by providing guidance on navigating the Australian healthcare, education systems and providing generalised guidance for community integration. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly and confidence in providing guidance on every day matters such as housing, healthcare and education. They will be organised and comfortable coordinating a smooth and well-supported relocation experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Relocation & Transition Support: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for professionals and their families relocating to Australia 

  • Provide clear, practical guidance on:  

  • Local communities and amenities  

  • The local rental market and housing options, including property search processes, leasing requirements, application expectations, and securing suitable accommodation 

  • Accessing healthcare services, including understanding the Australian healthcare system, registering with a GP, locating medical and emergency services, accessing specialised care, and understanding health insurance requirements 

  • Provide an overview of the Australian education system, including schooling options, childcare, special needs and early learning services 

  • Assist with school enrolments, helping families gather the necessary documentation and choose suitable schools or educational institutions. 

  • Assist with general enquiries to support a smooth and positive transition to life in Australia  

  • Deliver a high-touch, personalised service experience tailored to individual needs 

 

Service Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with: 

  • Real estate agents and property providers 

  • Healthcare providers and medical centres 

  • Schools, childcare centres, and education providers 

  • Local recreational facilities, sporting organisations, and community activities 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local service options, availability, and requirements to provide accurate and practical recommendations 

 

Client Engagement & Communication 

  • Provide a central point of contact via phone, email, and in person 

  • Respond to enquiries in a professional, timely, and approachable manner 

  • Communicate information clearly and simply, recognising that individuals may be unfamiliar with Australian systems and processes 

  • Provide practical, easy-to-understand explanations to help individuals and their families navigate everyday requirements and services 

  • Support the coordination of welcome sessions, briefings, or information events where required 

Administration & Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of enquiries and relocation activities to ensure a consistent and coordinated experience 

  • Develop and maintain resource materials and local area information 

  • Assist in liaising with government agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions.  

  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures 

  • Provide regular reporting on activity, trends, and service outcomes 

 

Skills & Qualifications: 

Essential: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards 

  • Ability to explain information clearly and practically to people unfamiliar with Australian systems and processes 

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks 

  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing demands 

  • Ability to deliver a high standard of service in a professional and responsive manner 

  • Current driver’s licence 

Desirable: 

  • Relevant degree or qualifications in business, administration, hospitality, community engagement, or a related field 

  • Experience using systems or tools (e.g. CRM, scheduling, or workflow tools) to manage enquiries, appointments, and coordination activities 

 

Experience & Knowledge: 

Essential 

  • Experience in a client-facing or service-oriented role 

  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders or service providers 

  • Familiarity with everyday systems such as housing, healthcare, education, or local services 

  • Experience managing enquiries, appointments, or service coordination in a fast-paced environment 

Desirable: 

  • Relocation, mobility, or onboarding services 

  • Property, real estate, or housing coordination 

  • Hospitality, hotel concierge, or guest relation services 

  • Event, program, or service coordination 

  • Healthcare or education administration (non-clinical) 

  • Experience supporting individuals or families transitioning to a new location or environment 

  • General understanding of the Australian healthcare and education systems 

 

 

Working Conditions: 

  • Location: Fortitude Valley 

  • Type of Employment: Full Time 

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-04:00 

  • Local travel is required as part of the role.  

  • Remote work may be required initially. A full-time onsite presence is expected once initial setup period has lapsed.

Citizenship Requirements: 

Applicants must be Australian citizens and are required to obtain and retain an NV1 security clearance.  

 

This position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.

Compensation Details:

AUS: $90,000 - $120,000
