Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking Food Service/Janitorial Supervisor to support the DHS/ICE Camp East Montana contract in El Paso, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Food Service/Janitorial Supervisor ensures overall cleanliness and sanitation of the Food Service and Janitorial Operation is maintained in a regular and consistent manner meeting the standards of the contract’s Performance Work Statement (PWS) and NDS 2025.

Duties include:

  • Oversight of the subcontracting company performing Janitorial and Food Service on site

  • Ensure that sanitation requirements are met in accordance with policies, schedules and governing documents

  • Develop, implement, and enforce approved statements of work/standard operating procedures

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety guidelines including kitchen tools and chemical safety and awareness

  • Oversight of compliance regarding training, required certifications and record keeping

  • Ensure required materials inventory is always compliant

  • Control and monitor usage of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies

  • Perform quality control checks after janitorial services have been rendered

  • Perform quality control checks on food service meals prior to delivery

  • Review and approve all contract deliverables pertaining to janitorial and food service prior to submission

  • Proactively prevent any life/health/safety concerns in both departments

  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisor experience required.

  • ServSafe Certified (40-hour management course)

  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily on-site within a secure facility area

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time such as ten (10) to twelve (12) hours, bend, kneel, and reach to store/retrieve supplies

  • Able to lift, carry, and push supplies and boxes up to 50 pounds

  • Must have good vision, wrist movements, and physical feeling to operate food service equipment

  • Requires walking, standing, and occasional exposure to challenging situations.

OTHER RESPONSIBILTIES
