Capital Construction Specialist Sr.
The contractor simultaneously coordinates, executes, and/or assists in the execution of all Capital Construction functions performing such duties and responsibilities in the capacity of the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) G4.
The duties and responsibilities of this position may include but are not limited to contractor shall travel, plan, coordinate, execute and/or assist in execution of all capital construction functions, to include; Coordinate daily activities of MSC facilities operations with Marine Installations and bases, to include: Planning, requirements development, use, maintenance, improvement, modifications, as required support MARFORSOC garrison and operations mission requirements. Contractor shall plan, organize, and coordinate facilities management functions of MARFORSOC by direct involvement. Contractor must communicate effectively, both verbally and with written communication. Contractor will assist with generating time-phased short and long-term plans, policies, and vision.
The ideal candidate will possess current knowledge and experience in Capital Construction, and have prior senior level headquarter and/or battalion level staff experience.
The candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain an operator’s license for non-tactical and tactical equipment.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and twelve (8) years of relevant, progressive experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications - External
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Work Environment
Work will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes telephone, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Candidate must exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress are usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.

Compensation Details:
$50,000
