Summary:
Reporting to the Logistics Specialist Lead, the Logistics Specialist. Provides professional customer service to internal and external clients. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate data entry, physical receiving, transferring, issuing, and inventory management of ASC and NSF material. Processes, packages, and stages an average of 12,000lbs of retrograde cargo per cruise. Offloads, receives, and delivers an average of 49,000lbs of southbound cargo per cruise. Makes recommendations concerning inventory improvement. Assists with coordination of port call planning and participates in long-shore cargo handling duties involving 20’ containers and break-bulk cargo. Successfully balances work tasking with community and volunteer tasking.
