We have an exciting opportunity for a
Production Scheduler to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company.
The
Production Scheduler will:
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production and processing services ensuring alignment with program milestones and on-time deliveries.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed production schedules across the EVA (Extravehicular Activity ) program.
- Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Serve as the planning focal for program hardware builds, from procurement through delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Coordinate with department supervisors to monitor production progress and completion dates
- Own capacity planning, make/buy decisions, and scenario modeling to inform critical path strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize build sequencing and resource allocation.
- Track production KPIs, generate dashboards, and deliver planning insights.
- Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Requisition Qualifications:This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing of critical hardware.
- 10+ years of production planning or project management experience using Microsoft Project, preferably in the aerospace field.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.

Essential Functions Work Environment Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
