The Rotary Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating helicopter maintenance tasks in support of classified HQ USAF operational plans and will ensure mission-ready helicopters are available to safely transport Cabinet members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Will supervise, direct, and control all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 22 UH-1N helicopters on a 24/7 basis to maintain alert readiness and airworthiness standards.
  • Monitors daily flying schedule to ensure all operational requirements are met.
  • Coordinates with other maintenance organizations and staff agencies to ensure effective support.
  • Responsible for overall helicopter generation and mission readiness to include aircraft forms review and Exceptional Release.
  • Ensures all maintenance is conducted safely IAW applicable instructions, policies, and directives.
  • Will know and understand disaster control duties and provisions.
  • Be able to implement emergency procedures and severe weather warning actions IAW directives and local policies.
  • Participates in the daily maintenance planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Serve as the aircrew’s point of contact (POC) for any and all maintenance matters.
  • Completes employee performance reviews.
  • Must be able to work, day shift, night shift, and/or weekend shift as required.

Minimum Requirements:  

  • A minimum of three years as Expeditor and/or Production Superintendent experience is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management skills are required.

• In-depth knowledge of Air Force regulations.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Recent experience on the UH-1N, Bell 212 or UH-1 is preferred.
  • A broad knowledge of helicopter maintenance operations, including 89AW Special Air Mission and Air Force technical publications applicable to helicopter maintenance is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:   

The base salary range for this position is 116K- 125K    This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the new salaries for the position.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
