Production Supervisor
Acts as the production representative and liaison with a Government Customer and directs the overall maintenance effort with the Government customers to meet contract obligations. Familiar with management principles as they apply to production/personnel management to include: planning, organizing, supervising, controlling, and directing personnel and equipment. Knowledge and understanding of Air Force supply system and logistics to include procurement of mission critical parts. Coordinates shop workloads and sets priorities, ensures scheduled maintenance is accomplished on-time. Familiar with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and understanding of time compliance technical data to include routine, safety, urgent and immediate action as it applies to aircraft or aerospace ground equipment to include engineering disposition requests. Quality driven familiar with hazardous material compliance to include environmental safety and health, personnel protective equipment (PPE) requirements as it applies to Repair and Reclamation, Crash Recovery, Wheel and Tire, Phase, Armament, Avionics , Corrosion, Egress, Electrical Environmental, Engine, Fuels, Machine, Maintenance Operations Center, Non Destructive Inspection, Plans and Scheduling, Pneudraulic, Survival Equipment union workforce. Understands on and off equipment maintenance as it applies to Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) to include aircraft/equipment impoundment and clearing procedures. Conducts follow-up actions and communicate with the Government customer to acquire feedback and update the customer on task or maintenance completions. Participates in maintenance and shared resource meetings to include daily, weekly, and periodic production meetings. Reviews and provides technical oversight on tasks utilizing current established company guidelines and/or Government directives. Discusses strategies with the management team for those unusual situations that may require the use of overtime, deployment of personnel, or the adjustment of work hours. Participates in maintenance discussions where the Company’s assets are involved. Requests medical assistance for employees who are injured on site and initiates the initial incident reports. Resolves customer related production issues. Ensures personnel utilize Technical Orders, with established Company, Local, Government, State or Federal policies and regulations. Promotes a culture of safety and compliance. Develop a teaming atmosphere, treating all personnel fair and equal.
Compensation Details:
$90,000
