The Real Property Specialist evaluates and recommends programs and development plans for new construction, renovation, and improvements of real property facilities, including utility systems. Will also coordinate and oversees the day-to-day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at assigned location ensuring quality to the customer.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Contractor will attend meetings as required. 

  • Will be responsible for the accounting and management of the installations real property records.

  • Shall ensure real property data is validated and kept current and new real property is properly accounted for in Government tracking systems.

  • Accounts for space utilization for base wide facilities.

  • Conducts space utilization studies and provides recommendations on how to more effectively utilize real property space on the installation.

  • Coordinates with users on space requests and validates requirements for space. 

  • Collaborate with various base agencies to apply principles of master planning and site planning of a wide variety of facilities.

  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Contractor’s personnel shall have at minimum 2 years’ experience managing and recording real property.  Real Property experience for DoD installations is preferred but not required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English

  • Ability to follow spoken instructions

  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, managers and customers.

  • Knowledge of various computer programs required (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Exercise good judgment, ability to multitask and work under time constraints.

  • Ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.

  • Extensive working knowledge of and ability to regularly utilize AutoCAD 2010 or later.
