Receptionist

Amentum has an opening for a receptionist for our Oak Ridge, TN office. You will serve as the phone operator for the Oak Ridge office. Control badge issue and visit coordination to the facility as well as assuring safety briefings are completed. Assist with conference room scheduling, messaging, deliveries and other administrative tasks as assigned such as assistance with the Oak Ridge project team with filing, research, typing, etc. as needed. Occasional overtime (weekday mornings and evenings) is required. No travel required.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED, degree preferred
  • Above average communication skills both written and oral, good command of the English language
  • Good phone skills
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience with Visio or any Project Controls software packages are a plus

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Office environment. (95%)

May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals and industrial facilities.

Physical Requirements:

Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods (100%) as well as climb, crawl, and lift up to 25 lbs. (25%).

Equipment and Machines:

Standard office equipment - PC, telephone, fax, copier, related equipment (90%)

Attendance:

Regular attendance mandatory in Oak Ridge, TN office (100%)

Overtime/work outside normal schedule required (10%)

Travel required (none)

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

U.S. Citizenship required. Valid driver's license is required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

       

Compensation Details:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
