The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

Responsibilities of this Role:

  • The talent acquisition role will principally be engaged in actively engaging talent at all levels from all data sources to surface critical talent for our active programs to include sourcing in the open market as well as within our own CRM, ATS and talent management systems
  • This will be a “full lifecycle” acquisition role beginning with research, profile enrichment, data management in our CRM and ending with fully qualified applicants completing the application process.
  • You’ll get to partner with our key hiring leaders to qualify, shape and consult on hiring strategy for current contacts, shape sourcing strategy at scale and engaged in competitor intelligence gathering activities.
  • You’ll engage with the future workforce by supporting relationships with College/University, TAP Offices, and other veteran services recruitment teams. You will also take part in virtual and in person career fairs!
  • You’ll be provided top tier tools in our growing technology stack including a sourcing friendly ATS, CRM and nextgen market facing sourcing tools
  • You’ll be on the phone in this role!  You’ll be engaging candidates directly to ensure they know the value of a Jacobs opportunity, build relationships with passive candidates, and actively manage your pipelines.

Qualifications - External

Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of related experience.  An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  Related experience to include recent technical external facing recruiting or talent sourcing in a technical, engineering, intelligence community, federal or aerospace industry.

  • You should have prior experience with talent sourcing tools and technology to include Seekout, LinkedIn Recruiter, Candidate CRM (Avature / Smashfly / Lever), candidate rediscovery in ATS systems such as Taleo, iCims, Brassring, Greenhouse
  • These roles will require a naturally curious mindset when it comes to hiring technology, embracing how to work and source at scale leveraging technology and automation where possible to out work and stay ahead of our competitors.
  • Demonstrated experience qualifying both talent needs and candidates against those needs with a measured track record of success to include time to fill, pipeline conversion, pipeline health and/or diversity sourcing metrics
  • Prior experience in delivery of technical talent to funded programs to include "Full cycle" sourcing from discovery to qualification to pre-closing of candidates
  • Strong ability to keep multiple priorities organized across a variety of collaboration platforms (MS Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet) to include project plans and reporting of quantifiable result
