Amentum has an immediate opening for a Shop Supply Supervisor to work with Rotational Training Units at Ft. Polk, LA.

  • Supervise research, analyze problems, and determine logistics element(s) requirements with minimum supervision.

  • Perform customer interface with minimum supervision to define and report status of routine tasks.

  • Review reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures etc., and assist with test/evaluations and validations/verifications; provide comments and impacts.

  • Prepare and draft correspondence (i.e., letters, memos and route sheets), design charts, spreadsheets,

  • Gantt charts, and presentations, and prepare draft analytical reports and meeting minutes.

  • Conduct logistics support planning, policy, procedure and similar documents.

  • Support logistics element(s) tasks.

  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures

  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

  • Maintains harmony among workers.

  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

  • Utilizing analytical abilities to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

  • Must have Expert Experience with programs including but not limited to GCSS-ARMY, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, LIW, FMSweb and FEDLOG.

  • Work closely with government officials, Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) with CDRILs as well additional reports

  • Research, analyze problems, and determine logistics element(s) requirements with minimum supervision.

  • Perform customer interface with minimum supervision to define and report status of routine tasks.

  • Supervises and train entry-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.  Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications.

  • Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.

  • Must have or be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed to perform duties.

  • Must have a valid and current state driver’s license.

  • Must be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.

  • Analytic ability to define problems, collect necessary data, and establish facts and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines.

  • Must be able to complete paperwork associated with the position as required.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, complex environment.

  • Must be able to read and understand Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, Army Regulations and Department of the Army Pamphlets.

  • Must have the ability to perform rot cause analysis and recognize changes in supply data.

  • Must possess basic computer skills. Must possess problem solving skills.

  • Must be self-motivated.

  • Must have understanding of military and civilian rank structure.

  • Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Must have an ability to meet physical demands and pass any related medical examination requirements required to perform daily assigned tasks.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC).

  • Position may require travel. Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 plus years of experience in supply chain management, preferably military knowledge of supply actions and accountability.

  • Experience working in GCSS-Army

Compensation Details:

US: $67,000.00
