The Site Manager reports to the Amentum Director of Operations and works to develop and maintain close working relationships with 
business leaders/stakeholders throughout the organization.

This position is responsible for the overall Integrated Facility Management program across the client’s site which includes twelve (12) 
buildings totaling approximately 1.8 million square feet on a 151-acre site. This includes preserving the safety and well-being of our 
employees, safeguarding company funds and property, and generally representing the company with respect to the client.

The scope of work includes but not limited to technical maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance of the facility), 
central utility plant maintenance, janitorial, landscaping and grounds, water treatment, fire and life safety equipment, pest control, and 
subcontractor management, specialty equipment maintenance, move/add/change activities, and workplace experience.

The scope also includes project work and project management activities.
Work requires knowledge of cost estimating, planning and scheduling techniques.

This position ensures that established company goals are realized while maintaining client relations that will enhance future business and has 
total responsibility for managing all aspects of the site.

• Provides leadership to ensure Amentum and client EH&S programs are 100% compliant.

  • Establishes and maintains effective two-way communications to understand needs and concerns of employees; 
    communicates employee attitudes and expectations to higher management; manages employee personal information
  • Performs annual employee assessment and performance review.

Operational Excellence

Manages all aspects of contract with client.

• Understands critical nature of client’s work environment including particulars of production facility. Ensures 24 x 7 operational availability of critical facility systems (HVAC, steam plant, electrical, compressed air, chilled and process cooling water systems)

• Ensure 24 x 7 operational availability of emergency life support systems and critical data center systems.
• Oversee implementation of planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensures workload is effectively prioritized, assigned, tracked, and executed.
• Ensures workflows are defined, implemented, and effective.
• Ensures predictive technologies are effectively used and results are used to drive Reliability Center Maintenance 
• Drives project continuous improvement, set goals and objectives, and meets schedule commitments.
• Ensures plans are aggressively monitored and requirements are enforced.
• Delegates effectively
• Anticipates operation’s needs and provides good direction; takes initiative.
• Meets or exceeds KPI’s.
• Oversees effectiveness of following soft services:
• Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance
• Janitorial Services
• Manages multiple subcontractors supporting the operations and maintenance functions.
• Delegates effectively

Cost

Develops detailed budget with labor, materials, and subcontract costs identified by month across the portfolio. 
• Controls costs by planning work, effectively using resources, and executing to budget.
• Identifies and implements cost savings initiatives in all areas of the project.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or related field or at least five years of progressive supervisory 

experience in managing contracts for maintenance, operation, or construction services for facilities, utilities or infrastructure.

  • Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs is required.

• This position may require a valid Driver’s License.

• This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
• This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Physical Requirements:

Constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant 
use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.

• Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Position involves working in environments (e.g., shipboard, labs, outside locations, etc.) where mechanical equipment, 
weapons, etc. are being installed, tested, analyzed/monitored, operated, and/or maintained.

• Equipment may be loud and noisy or have exposed moving components.
• Such positions may involve routine lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling and carrying.

Special Requirements:

• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

  • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.

       

Compensation Details:

$125K - $140K.
