Role Title: Strategic Communications Adviser
Role Description:
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality media, briefing, and communications support to ensure clear, consistent, and strategic messaging across the organisation. This includes drafting and coordinating media materials, such as press releases, talking points, and responses to media enquiries, brief writing while maintaining alignment with organisational priorities and reputational considerations. The position requires the preparation of concise, accurate, and well‑structured briefs for senior leaders, synthesising complex information into clear recommendations, key messages, and risk considerations to support effective decision-making.
In addition, the role leads the development and implementation of communication products tailored to a range of internal and external audiences, ensuring messaging is timely, engaging, and fit-for-purpose. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments. Strong writing, editing, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to exercise sound judgement, adapt messaging to different contexts, and uphold a high standard of professionalism in all communications outputs.
