You'll oversees Airfield Management facilities and services, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for aircraft operations. They supervise all personnel within AM and conduct Annual Airfield Certification and Safety Inspections. You will inspection the airfield, organize activities, and manage information crucial for safe aircraft operation.
You ensure the safe and efficient flow of air traffic in their designated control airspace, following ICAO and FAA 7110.65 regulations and applying separation rules outlined in FAA manuals. You maintain situational awareness of air traffic operations, coordinating with controllers and personnel to relay crucial information for the safety of flight.
You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair standard ground radar and airfield systems, including air traffic control radars, ground aircraft control and warning radar systems, air traffic control radios, and more. You'll resolve installation, repair, and modification issues related to ATCALS and C2 equipment, utilizing line-of-sight and tropospheric scatter techniques.
You'll install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. They conduct scheduled maintenance and seasonal overhauls to optimize system efficiency, while also performing planning activities and facility surveys.
