Fraud and Scam Awareness

Amentum is committed to providing a safe and trustworthy job search experience. Recently, we have identified an increase in phishing attempts and fraudulent individuals posing as Amentum recruiters, especially across social media platforms.

Beware of fake employment opportunities using Amentum’s name. Amentum will never ask you to provide payment-related information during any part of the employment application process (i.e., ask you for money or to purchase cryptocurrency), nor will Amentum ever advance money as part of the hiring process (i.e., send you a check or money order before doing any work). Further, Amentum recruiters may also contact you through the legitimate email addresses @amentum.com , @us.amentum.com or @global.amentum.com . You may also receive communications from our recruiting teams and HR staff using official customer site email addresses that end in .mil or .gov – never from free commercial services (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail) or via WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.

If you receive an email from these addresses, you can trust it is part of our official recruiting communications.

If you received an email purporting to be from Amentum that asks for payment-related information or any other personal information (e.g., about you or your previous employer), and you are concerned about its legitimacy, please make us aware immediately by using the Careers Fraud form below.

All legitimate opportunities are posted on our careers site: https://www.amentumcareers.com

If you believe you are the victim of a scam, report the incident to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Thank you for your interest in Amentum.
Your trust is important to us, and we remain committed to a transparent, secure hiring process.
