Amentum is seeking an experienced Assessment & Analysis SME to support Combatant Command Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) under the Apollo program. The Apollo Solutions Architect Team (ASAT) is a cross-functional enterprise team that drives innovation, standardization, and integration across all Apollo Task Order services. ASAT serves as Apollo’s dedicated SME cell, delivering scalable support to Combatant Commands through advanced solution design, operational integration, training, analysis, and modernization. Centrally based in Tampa, the ASAT continuously develops and deploys new tools, workflows, and TTPs to outpace adversaries and strengthen Combatant Command information advantage. 

As a member of the Apollo Solution Architect Team (ASAT), the selected candidate will provide enterprise-level assessment, analysis, measurement, and decision-support expertise across all Combatant Commands. This role serves as the principal assessment and analytical advisor within the ASAT, ensuring that operational solutions incorporate meaningful measures, analytical rigor, performance indicators, assessment frameworks, and data-informed decision support that enable commanders to understand progress, effectiveness, risk, and mission impact.  This role also ensures all ASAT solutions incorporate measurable outcomes, assessment frameworks, and decision-support mechanisms.


As an Assessment & Analysis SME, you will:

  • Serve as a senior member of the Apollo Solution Architect Team (ASAT), supporting Combatant Commands across all Apollo mission areas.
  • Design and develop assessment frameworks that evaluate operational effectiveness, mission progress, information advantage, influence outcomes, organizational performance, and capability effectiveness.
  • Analyze Combatant Command requirements and operational challenges to identify information requirements, measures, indicators, and assessment methodologies.
  • Develop Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Effectiveness Indicators (MOEIs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and decision-support metrics.
  • Support integration of assessment processes across planning, operations, intelligence, OIE, PSYOP, KLE, Irregular Warfare (IW), training, and mission-support activities.
  • Design enterprise assessment architectures that support operational, strategic, and organizational decision-making.
  • Evaluate operational data, assessment results, intelligence products, campaign outputs, and mission performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Managers, Solutions Designers, OIE Planners, ISIOs, Assessment Integrators, Data Scientists, Knowledge Managers, and Operational Intelligence personnel to develop assessment-enabled solutions.
  • Design analytical workflows that integrate structured and unstructured data sources into actionable decision-support products.
  • Support development of dashboards, visualization frameworks, reporting architectures, data models, and operational monitoring environments.
  • Conduct operational analyses that identify best practices, lessons learned, process improvement opportunities, capability gaps, and mission impacts.
  • Develop executive-level assessment reports, analytical studies, trend analyses, decision-support products, and implementation recommendations.
  • Support experimentation, pilot efforts, and innovation initiatives through structured analytical methodologies and effectiveness assessments.
  • Ensure all ASAT solutions incorporate measurable outcomes, performance metrics, assessment mechanisms, and decision-support capabilities.
  • Travel (CONUS/OCONUS) to support solution requirements across participating CCMDs.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.  
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Operations, Intelligence Studies, National Security Studies, Strategic Studies, Systems Analysis, Political Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 11 years of experience supporting operational assessment, campaign assessment, operational analysis, data analytics, performance measurement, military operations analysis, or related mission areas.
  • Demonstrated experience developing operational assessment frameworks, MOEs, MOEIs, MOPs, KPIs, or decision-support methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Joint Planning Process (JP 5-0), campaign assessment methodologies, OIE assessment concepts, Information Forces integration, and operational analysis.
  • Experience evaluating complex operational environments and translating findings into recommendations for senior decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating assessment, intelligence, planning, execution, and operational reporting processes.
  • Experience producing analytical reports, performance assessments, executive briefings, and decision-support products.
  • Strong quantitative, qualitative, analytical, written, verbal, and executive briefing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.  Note:  US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • 5 years supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, Component Commands, Joint Task Forces, or equivalent operational headquarters.
  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics, Strategic Studies, National Security Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Operations, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience as an Assessment Integrator, Operations Research Analyst, Campaign Assessment Analyst, Data Scientist, OIE Assessment Planner, Information Operations Analyst, Operational Analyst, or equivalent role.
  • Experience supporting Theater Campaign Plans, Functional Campaign Plans, contingency operations, crisis response operations, OIE assessments, or strategic competition initiatives.
  • Experience developing Information Environment Assessments, Operational Environment Assessments, Influence Assessments, Campaign Assessments, or Operational Intelligence Assessments.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft 365, MAVEN, C2IE, SharePoint, data lakes, visualization systems, assessment dashboards, and decision-support environments.
  • Experience integrating operational intelligence, behavioral analysis, audience analysis, campaign assessment, and operational reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting OIE, IW, PSYOP, Cyber, STO, OPSEC, JEMSO, KLE, Public Affairs, Operational Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Assessment missions.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, predictive analytics, modeling techniques, AI-assisted assessments, machine learning applications, and operational research methodologies.
  • Experience supporting multiple Combatant Commands or enterprise-level Joint initiatives.
  • Experience working with C2IE (Command and Control of the Information Environment) and/or Maven platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience advising General Officers, Flag Officers, Senior Executive Service personnel, or equivalent leaders regarding operational effectiveness, risk, performance, and mission outcomes.
     

       

Compensation Details:

$130,000 – $180,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
