Join Amentum's National Security business and help deliver some of the UK's most critical and complex programmes. We are seeking eDV-cleared professionals across project delivery, engineering, architecture, and business transformation disciplines to support missions that protect and enhance UK sovereign capability.

You'll work on projects of genuine national importance, tackling complex digital, engineering, and transformation challenges while building your experience through varied and impactful assignments. As part of a collaborative team that values trust, integrity, and delivery excellence, you'll have the opportunity to develop a rewarding career within one of the UK's most critical and dynamic sectors, helping to strengthen the UK's future security and resilience.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst with active eDV clearance to join a growing team delivering business change, cyber security, and digital transformation programmes within the UK Intelligence Community. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, Cyber specialists, and Business Change professionals, you will support requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and change delivery across a range of operational programmes.

This is a client-facing role within a collaborative, multi-contractor environment, providing consultancy and delivery support to an operationally focused customer. You'll gain exposure to a variety of stakeholders and projects, while developing your business analysis and change management skills in a highly secure environment.

The role offers excellent opportunities for mentoring, professional development, and career progression. Regular on-site attendance is an essential requirement, with up to three days per week at the client site. Applicants must hold active eDV clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on your experience and qualifications, you will work alongside senior Project Management, Cyber, and Business Change professionals to:

  • Support the gathering and analysis of business requirements, mapping current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") processes using industry-standard modelling techniques.
  • Assist in conducting stakeholder interviews, business process workshops, surveys, and document and data analysis activities.
  • Analyse and evaluate information from multiple sources, identifying key insights, resolving conflicting requirements, and translating complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisation tools to support informed decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to the redesign and optimisation of business processes and policies, supporting operational effectiveness and cyber security risk mitigation.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working, ensuring successful business change adoption across the organisation.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline, ideally supported by 2-4 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Engineering, or similar role within a UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) client-facing environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to interact with and present to senior audiences.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment, bringing a proactive and adaptable approach to your work.
  • A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and contribute positively to a growing team, which we value as highly as specific qualifications and experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, all applicants must hold active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance at the time of application.

Unfortunately, candidates who do not currently hold active eDV clearance will not be eligible for consideration.
