Amentum is seeking a seasoned, enthusiastic Construction Manager to work on a US Army Corp of Engineers project in South Korea. The project will be a build project, with Amentum as the prime contractor for carrying out the completion of an office complex, constructed using South Korean subcontractors and United States cleared labor. The project has many unique facets in the design requirements. The project is scheduled for 1 year and 7 months beginning in April, and the person that accepts this position will be based in South Korea for the duration of the work. The project will be supported by the Annapolis Junction, Maryland office, for schedule support, procurement, safety, quality and needs for completing the project goals.  The position requires that persons applying to this position have OCONUS experience and a background in carrying out projects using foreign labor subcontracts. The project will also include managing the Cleared American labor force for classified areas of the project.  

Duties will include: 

• Buying materials as needed to support the project requirements
• Monitoring project costs 
• Developing progress payment requests
• Assist in developing and maintaining a safety program 
• Assist in developing and maintaining a quality program
• Overseeing and directing - direct hire cleared craft 
• Monitoring the change order process
• Maintaining project schedules 
• Communications with customer / subcontractors / home office 

Required Qualifications: 

• OCONUS experience 
• Management of subcontractors 
• US Army Corp of Engineers Experience
• Must possess a current TS security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Degree in Construction Management 
• Good Working understanding of US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Resident Management System (RMS) 
• Experience managing projects OCONUS with a value greater than $25 million
