Review all of the approved SkillBridge program information listed on the SkillBridge Locations page of this website.
Directly contact the Employer POCs listed on the SkillBridge Locations page of the website to learn more about program specific eligibility requirements, start dates, training duration, enrollment protocol, etc. If there is no Employer POC contact information available on the DOD SkillBridge website, please visit the identified Industry Partner/Employers website to further inquire, or Contact Us for further assistance.
If there is a training program or internship of interest not currently approved and listed on the DOD website, the training provider may route a request for approval by visiting Industry
Partners/Employers - How to Participate.
Once you have determined eligibility, and identified a program of interest, submit a request through your chain of command for "permission to participate" in training. Required documentation and request routing protocol vary by command so consult with your designated command representative for details.
Maintain a copy of approval documentation signed by your unit commander in personal files for reference as necessary, and provide a copy to the Employer POC for review and final acceptance as appropriate. Whether you are a veteran, Guardsman or Reservist, a military spouse or plan to switch back to civilian life shortly, we’re excited to get to know you. We are committed to hiring heroes.

Hiring veterans is a vital component of the company's mission to honor and support those who have served our country. Our Wall of Honor, which commemorates the ultimate sacrifice made by personnel in support of our customers' missions, is more than a physical structure. It symbolizes the deep respect and gratitude we hold for those who have dedicated their lives to building a better world.
Veterans bring a unique set of skills, values, and experiences to the workplace. Their discipline, leadership, and ability to perform under pressure are invaluable assets. By hiring veterans, we not only gain team members who are mission-driven and highly skilled, but we also continue the legacy of service that our Wall of Honor represents. The Wall is inscribed with the following words:
“In memory of our friends and colleagues who served with honor and courage to help build a better world, and who gave their lives in that honorable service.”
