For a period of 10 weeks we are seeking a Civil, Structural & Architectural (CS&A) Technician, to join our team in Westlakes, Cumbria.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide engineering skills and related project functions for the design, modification, maintenance, and/or construction of buildings, facilities, systems, and associated assets. 

• May assume lead responsibility for a significant portion of a major project or for leadership of engineers within an engineering discipline, i.e. civil, electrical, or mechanical. 

• Develop comprehensive project plans and other project-related documentation, i.e. designs and/or specifications. 

• Present technical information to peer engineers, project team members, and/or engineering management to provide updates and/or influence decisions on technical issues.

Requirements:

• Familiar with basic engineering technologies and techniques. 

• Highly numerate and literate.

• Able to accurately follow instruction and develop concepts within clearly defined boundaries.

• Work with minimal supervision to meet clearly defined targets.

• Communicate clearly with engineering team and seek guidance whenever work scope is not clear.

• Able to support the development of cost effective solutions to meet customer requirements as part of an engineering

• team.  

• Working towards becoming fully conversant with company QMS. 

• Aware of applicable codes and safety legislation and able to apply them under supervision.
