rpose and Impact: Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Custodian to join our team in Alice Springs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive, community-driven environment and is looking for a healthy work-life balance. 

Provide housekeeping for temporary quarter (TQ) lodging, cleaning services across site and laundry services on site for USG, GOA, contracted employees, and business travelers who are staying in the TQ. 

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 0730-1600 

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Conduct assigned site custodial tasks in the Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas 

• Conduct laundry facilities duties for TQs 

• Polish floors and steam clean carpets using the appropriate custodial equipment 

• Ensure highly rated customer service is provided to all customers 

• Dust and remove cobwebs 

• Remove rubbish from TQs, Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas 

• Maintain necessary supplies in TQs, Ops Building, Tech, and Support areas 

• Maintain and store inventory of all supplies for custodial staff 

• Ensure and maintain health and safety practices and compliance at the site and within the workplace 

• Perform any other reasonable duties as requested 

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: 

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs independently, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines. 

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):nil 

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Hospitality/Industrial Custodial industry 

Security Clearance Required:  

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Essential 

• Certificate in Health Support Services 

• Certificate Hospitality 

• Field: Hospitality 

Desirable 

• Undergraduate Degree Field: Hospitality
