Amentum is seeking to hire a skilled mechanical tradesman to support a project in Seoul, Korea. In this position you be joining a group of skilled professionals performing a new building project. The project has many interesting aspects and is led by a team of professional managers that work together to meet project goals.

Project Details:

Work hours are 7:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Saturday. Transportation to and from the project is provided. Housing is an efficiency type apartment located within 15 minutes by car from the project. Air travel is standard coach class, to and from point of departure.

Mechanical Tradesman Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
• Be responsible for the planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments.
• Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
• Select materials necessary for the work.
• Install and test FCU / Piping / Insulation / Cladding
• Install and Test Chiller Unit to include piping / insulation / cladding.
• Assist with the overall project goals, to include material handling, housekeeping and various activities that may arise while performing the work.
• Performs other duties and activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Secret Minimum - TS Clearance Preferred
• High school diploma
• 4 years working in the trade
• Overseas Experience
