Amentum is seeking a Logistics Technician to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) 

Essential Functions  

  • All aspects of Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) to include material handling and physical inventory and pick-up and delivery of items to include bulk cargo.   

  • Schedule pick-up and delivery around customer requirements and mission support.   

  • Prepare items for shipment to include packaging and generating documentation.   

  • Stock maintenance functions to include straightening items on shelves, orienting bin labels, stacking items on pallets and shelves. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by perform general housekeeping function to include but not limited to; sweeping, dusting, mopping, warehouse and operating commercial floor scrubber.   

  • Ensure the deliverables meet client expectations with high professionalism, punctuality & quality.   

  • Perform quality check on sensitive, perishable, pilferable, climate controlled and fragile assets. Rotate assets to ensure adequate consumption of shelf-life assets.  

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles. Perform operator checks on vehicles and mechanized material handling equipment such as; forklifts, warehouse stackers, Pallet Jacks and transport equipment.  

  • Assist with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies of equipment and consumable assets. 

  • Participate in meetings with clients and/or team to provide solutions in resolving issues 

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation and inventory tracking. 

  • Selects and retrieves products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders accurately. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Experience   

  • High School diploma or equivalent.   

  • 3+ years of experience in a logistics or supply position.   

  •  Experience operating general PHS&T equipment such as: forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, hand tools, etc.   

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel and Maximo     

Additional Eligibility Qualifications 

  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.  

  • Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.   

  • Capable of continuous, non-sedentary tasks.  

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization.  

  •  Valid U.S. (Class E) Driver’s License required. 

  • Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.  

       

Compensation Details:

$29.82 hourly
