About the Role
Amentum have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Plan Coordinator this role plays a key role in supporting safe, compliant, and effective maintenance operations.
Reporting to the SSC Operations Supervisor, this position provides coordination and administrative support across the maintenance planning function. Working closely with planners, schedulers, maintenance, operations, and engineering teams, this role ensures maintenance activities are accurately planned, scheduled, and documented—enabling optimal resource use and timely preventive maintenance delivery.
Responsibilities Include (however not limited to):
Plan work activities using the site computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
Determine and monitor resource capacities to enable the development of detailed schedules for planned and reactive maintenance activities
Prepare documentation required to access systems and equipment requiring maintenance
Collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure organisational goals are realised
Ensure CMMS data is maintained in an accurate and consistent manner
Be flexible and adaptable in approach to completing planning and scheduling objectives
Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliance’s at site and within the workplace.
About You:
Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance planning or scheduling
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
Certificate IV or higher in Planning and Scheduling (desirable)
Trade qualification (desirable)
Must possess strong teamwork, communication (written and verbal), compliance awareness, customer service, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and quality control.
Current valid Driver’s License
CPR and First Aid Certification (desirable)
White Card qualification (desirable)
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
A willingness to partake in Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screen and Background checks.
