Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manpower and Personnel Planner to provide planning and analysis support to the Commander, Submarine Force, Pacific (CSP) Manpower and Personnel Directorate at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

  • Have the experience and knowledge to support the CSP staff in its role as Submarine Type Commander for the Pacific Fleet Area of Responsibility.

You will provide assistance to the Manpower and Personnel Directorate and the CSP staff by conducting supporting manpower initiatives to enable the CSP mission.   

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the CSP Director of Manpower and Personnel in the near, mid, and long-term management of Australia, United Kingdom, United States (AUKUS) manning efforts by developing briefing products, data collection, and execution planning.
  • Identify future organizational structure concepts and identify gaps/shortfalls, mitigation actions, and consider impacts to DOTmLPF-P in support of tasking to CSP to urgently field autonomous systems at scale.
  • Support in the execution of transitioning end strength from Tender Repair Departments to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Guam Detachment.
  • Support SSN inactivation manning execution.
  • Support data calls from U.S Pacific Fleet or higher echelon commands by consolidating responses to various taskers, requests for information, and annual instruction reviews.
  • Support CSP Manpower and Personnel Directorate with database management and space allocation coordination requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years experience directly managing Submarine Force personnel distribution or policy.
  • At least 2 years of experience on Squadron, Type Commander or higher-level staff.
  • Experience organizing and facilitating recurring meetings.
  • Experience developing and presenting briefings to senior leaders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have an active Secret clearance. Note:  US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations.
  • Experience as a Submarine Squadron Personnel Manager, Command Senior Enlisted Advisor, or equivalent.

The salary range for this position is $135K to $155K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
